Dr. C. Madhavi Latha, M.Pharm., Ph.D., M.Sc. (Medical Anatomy), MBA, is currently serving as the Professor and Principal in the Department of Pharmacology at Sree Venkateswara College of Pharmacy, SV Group of Institutions, Nellore. She possesses strong academic qualifications including B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Ph.D., and M.Sc. in Medical Anatomy, MBA reflecting her multidisciplinary expertise in pharmaceutical and medical sciences.
Throughout her distinguished career, she has received several prestigious recognitions such as the Best Teacher Award from JNTUA (2025), Vidyaratna Award from Delhi, Global Award (2020) from Pondicherry, Academic Excellence Award (2022) from Bangalore, National Education Brilliance Award (2023), Bharath Gaurav Puraskar & Certificate of Excellence (2024), and the National Bharath Summit & Global Achievers Excellence Award (2024). She was also honored with the Best Teacher Award (2025) from SV Group of Institutions.
She actively contributed as a frontline member in the DST‑NIMAT sponsored Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp and serves as the Editor‑in‑Chief of the journal “Advances in Pharmacology and Toxicology.” Additionally, she is an advisor member to Lusaka Apex Medical University, South Africa, and a reviewer for reputed organizations including AAPS, Bentham, and Elsevier. She has presented her research internationally in Nepal and Hong Kong.
She has made significant academic contributions through publications and research. She has authored 15 books. Her research portfolio includes 22 patents, 60 research articles, 45 review papers, and 25 book chapters. She has attended around 120 conferences and guided numerous student projects including 40 PG projects, 60 UG projects, and 55 mini projects.
She also serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several reputed journals such as the Journal of Global Trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences (JGTPS), International Journal of Advances in Pharmaceutical Research (IJAPR), and Journal of Applied Organometallic Chemistry. Her fellowships include affiliations with the Institution of Pharmacology, Kolkata; Academy of General Education, Manipal; and the Indian Pharmaceutical Association. She is also a life member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
At present, she is recognized as an eligible guide and supervisor (JNTUA) for Ph.D. scholars in pharmacology, contributing extensively to research, academics, and professional development in the pharmaceutical sciences field.
